Michael has a passion for helping people learn and achieve. Whilst working as a teacher, he built his own property portfolio & learned how to implement a finance structure to continue to allow additional investments and build an asset base by regularly acquiring more property.

Combining his expertise in teaching and passion for property, Michael founded First Avenue Finance, where he helps his clients to structure their finances to help them buy their first home or first investment property and then to build their own property portfolio.

Michael's clients are safe in the knowledge that his advice comes from first-hand experience rather than text-book theory, and that as a boutique finance company he deals directly with all clients.

Mick's expertise is in marketing / business development and has been recruited into the First Avenue Finance team to help structure the growing business.   

Mick Coyne joined First Avenue Finance, taking on the role of Marketing and Communications Manager. Mick completed his tertiary education abroad completing a Bachelor of Sport Management (Business) at Northern Illinois University before studying a Masters of Sports Management at Louisiana State University.

Returning to Australia, Mick has assisted in the delivery of major sporting events including the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games and the FINA World Swimming Championships. He has also managed community events on behalf of Sport and Recreation Victoria and is responsible for a successful social marketing campaign that encouraged more than 150,000 people to become more physically active.

In addition, Mick is responsible for the organisation’s overall brand and digital strategy including e-communications and digital assets.
